Christopher Walla - Field Manual (Drive)

We can hear (and download) a first preview of the debut solo Chris Walla, Music Brain Death cab for cutie , producer of multiple bands ( Nada Surf, The Decemberists or The long winters have passed through his studio) and manages his own label, Hall of justice . The album, scheduled for January 2008, is called Field Manual and so far, will be released by Barsuk Records .

Sing Again (that's how the topic is called) is far from the first deliveries solo Walla, published under the name Martin Youth Auxiliary , being much more power than their predecessors. The songs released under the pseudonym above could almost be defined as lo-fi and bred, to be seen whether the rest of this Field Manual is closer to alternative rock or maintains the wake of these recordings date from the late nineties.

Anyway hope this album with great curiosity, to see to the best of Walla solo without the master company Ben Gibbard (Death Cab leader ... ) and to see what's in it that had the FBI seize the computer of a musician, where he kept the master of the issues.
