Couple Budget Spreadsheet

M83 - Razzmatazz 3, 01 November 2008

First, some comments on the organization of the concert: 1) It is too chivalrous delayed 30 minutes by opening doors, especially when it rains and no where to be a queue with decency, but whatever. 2) It is too gentlemanly to force staff to sign up for a mailing list to also repeat the registration at the entrance of the concert, with monumental queues caused thereby, but whatever. 3) It is not too gentlemanly to delay the start of the concert 90 minutes, claiming that the guest was a DJ who was clicking during this time. It is true that the DJ did his job, but it was very clear the difference between this performance as "guest" and the musical thread that is used to kill time before the concert, perhaps it is because the DJ was not found without looking behind the columns of the back of the room, but whatever.

M83 en directo, Anthony Gonzalez y Morgan Kibby

And why go? Because it is easy to see M83 in our country, even a band in the neighboring country and especially and why not make quality concerts below 20 Euros, which seems very exaggerated. Then accept being treated like a sheep for a good concert to change as explained in the first paragraph ... or do not accept it?

More to the point, good concert Anthony Gonzalez and his family, who delighted all those who were surprised by the lack of tact that was set in the past and Daydream Festival 2008, where organization (again) they provided the services of a sound technician specialist roasters. On this occasion, accompanied by a stable of drums, guitar and vocals-keyboards, M83 came to the tiny stage of the hall 3, Razzmatazz to present their latest album, Saturdays = Youth , breathing influences from New Order and Boards of Canada on all four sides.

For nearly an hour and a half, echoed by the walls of the room perfectly executed several themes of this latest album, starting with "Graveyard Girl" and ending with "Coleurs", besides "Skin of the Night" or the fantastic " Kim & Jessie "and" We own the sky "among others. But in a concert of M83 do not forget the hits from earlier albums, including those belonging to the time when the M83 was a genius duo consisting of himself Gonzalez and Nicolas Fromageau . This sounded "Sitting," "Do not Save Us From The Flames" and the spectacular "Teen Angst", all very well received by the crowd that crammed into the small space.

In short, fantastic, 10 for the event, obtained from the average of 20 for M83 and 0 for the organization. How it was the first time ...
